Looks like I'll be waiting 5 more weeks for my Aussie pup. I'm getting a boy (hopefully the blue merle) from the second litter.
See the pups here:

Those of you that are my LJ friends know, for those that are not don't know but I really don't feel like going into exact details right now but here's a quick summary
Sadly (on my part anyways) the red boy was of conformation quality.
The blue boy, well, I don't know how to put it, he went to a pet/performance home, which is what I am and was first on the list but someone got bumped ahead of me. They were on the list for a girl, but there were no blue girls so they gave them the blue boy. They were on the list longer than I was but for a girl. The right thing for them to do would either have them wait for a blue girl or put them at the bottom of the list for a blue boy. But when the breeder saw a blue boy in the second litter she thought that I would be alright with it.
I am kind of ok with it as Kandi's pups would probably be better for me, as that blue boy was a LITTLE on the shy side BUT the breeder should of asked me too.
It was unfair what she did. But I can't change anything.

edited because I forgot to finish a sentance.

Aaaargh! I guess everything happens for a reason and your new baby will be worth the wait (also means we get to see even more delicious puppies ;)

Aw, man, I'd hate to have to wait. ;) I have maybe a stupid question. Why are they all called tri, when it looks like a couple of them only have black and white? Or am I just not seeing the brown/tan on them?

I think I know the 3 you are talking about & yes they have brown, you just have to look really hard (and some of the brown is not shown in that angle either).

Blk tri boy#2, if you look hard you can see a slight brown above the eyes, and the hind legs near their knee area.

Blk tri girl#2, you can see a tiny bit of brown on the same spots, eyes & knee area, but you have to look even harder. lol

Blk tri girl #3, same spots again but you don't have to look as hard.

No question is a stupid question! :)

I know how it is to have to wait for a puppy...we waited a couple months for Dale and it was torture!! (Some people have to be put on a waiting list for a year!) :)

I think everything happens for a reason, and this new pup that you now have to wait for, may have been born just for you!! And the other one that went to another home, might not have been the perfect match for you and your family. Anyway...looking forward to seeing the puppy when you do get him... :)
