Havanese?

Hello all, I've been researching this breed, and I think that I really like these dogs!!!
(I know some of you probably hate me 'cause I've been going back-and-forth between dog breeds for me next dog.) :D

Okay from what I know, the Havanese is very similar to the Bichon Frise. They are a very rare breed, originating from Cuba. (They are also very expensive! The breeder that I got most all of my information was selling his/her Havanese pups for $1800!:eek: :eek: )

Havanese are nice, aren't they? My mentor shows Havanese as well as Pekes and those pups are quite the clown. 1,000$ sounds about right for a Hav pup, but 1,800$ does seem a little high for a pet quality pup. May I ask for the breeder's website? I admit, I'm very protective of Toy breeds in particular and like to check out random breeders ;)

Oh, it's alright. Do you live in CA? I checked the site and they say they're located in Sacramento (I'm in Northern CA as well :)). Well, I can't say they're the BEST Bichon Frise breeders, but I'm glad to see that they show their Havs. :D

I groomed a show havanese a few weeks ago. :) We get them in quite often. They seem like nice little dogs.
