I don't know if you noticed it, but I haven't been here for a week (which was like a year for me, I had never been away from this site for such a long time!). I went to the west side of my country to spend my holidays, so I just wanted to post some of the pics I took while I was there.
Well, the place I went to is in La Rioja (a province in Argentina), and it's a very small town, where people have a completely different lifestyle, I was shocked when I was told that there weren't any computers there  But the landscapes are very beautiful, so after I got used to not checking my e-mail every 5 minutes, I was able to enjoy them...:D
So this is a little house, and in the back you can see Mount Pissis, the highest vulcano in America:

Local fauna, as nobody hunt them you can see these animals near road and they are not afraid of humans:

Before I saw this I couldn't believe a mountain could have so many different
colors:

This is a frozen lake in the top of the Andes, at 4500 metres above the sea level. I had never been in a place like this before, it was unbelieveable.

4500 metres above the sea level make you feel really sick, when the body realises of the lack of oxygen your head starts to hurt and you think you're gonna die. If besides that the temperature is -15CÂș and the wind is so strong that makes it difficult to stand, you'll look like me in this pic:

More on the next post...hope you like them!
