Actually, PCB, I think this thread is this week's Thursday's which is always in the Dog House. I suppose it could be called #115, but because this is the week of the BBQ, Richard thought he could start this one and everyone could join in and take part in the festivities. So if the bar is open, maybe I could grab a cold beer while I finish packing.

Yes, I'm sure Laurie has Mario all prepared and ready to leave...as long as he doesn't wear those speedos again. :eek:

Mario is packed (a six pack of beer in his cooler) and I have four books and an extra T-shirt packed so far :rolleyes: . Slick, if it's his speed-o or nekkid which would be worse? :D As mentioned in the other thread - the "Mystery Guest" and I arrive within 5 minutes of each other at the airport! If we don't get yanked into "secondary" we will start the party at the airport!! YIIII HAAAA :D

A recorded video of the whole affair would be preferable, but I guess that is too much to hope for. We will let you know how the slushies "test"............or if they need an adjustment.

The semi-new for us car is dead (new alternator thingy needed) so now I have to call a cab to take me to the airport... there goes $50. bummer. Leaving in about 1 hour but need to stop at an ATM first I guess. grrrrr :mad: I would much rather spend $50 on ice or food or toilet paper :p See you guys later today at some point. I'm still expecting to go the the arrival gate or baggage gate to meet "mystery guest" (assuming my and That Person's flights are on time). I will be wearing my PetTalker visor so I shouldn't be hard to spot:p

Day 3.
Tiimepost - 7:10am
All is quiet behind the orange curtain
Only the insane and weird are up at this time of the morning....plotting how to climb the tree in the back yard.
Our "hostess with the mostess" is still in bed as is the Lil Sis, Tonya. Can't hear any snoring but Rascal has broken the silence with his cries for food and calming purrs. Annie came out for breakfast but Emma has not been seen yet. I'm sure she's curled up on Meowmie's bed.

Laurie has not opened the Bailey's yet this morning, but don't ask me to smell her coffee!!!:eek: :eek:

And speaking about Laurie, she made the most amazing supper last night....Chesapeake Crab Cakes with steamed asparagus. For dessert.....Bailey's. It was awesome. Oh yes, that reminds me.....must buy more wine! Last night I had the pleasure of ingesting a couple of BM's with a wonderful shrimp as a garnish....it's the only one that was left after Rascal got his paws all over them.

Richard will be here all day today and when he gets here, his first task is to get the ladder out......."How many Pet Talkers can you hang from a tree?" Mario says "Rookies!!!" :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

So this morning the real food prep begins. I will prepare the chili for tonight's supper and let it steep in the slow cooker all day while Richard and the others get the back yard in order.

Laurie here checking in from Gini's. 7 a.m. California time. Mary showed up at 2:30 in the morning last night - weak and weary after a horrendous trip and a motel that cancelled out on her :mad: :mad: Now she is safe and sound and sleeping in an extra bed. So far this morning it's just me and the orangies. Party today, party yesterday, party tomorrow :D The bees aren't the only things buzzin' in these parts ;) :rolleyes: Richard should be here in a few hours and most others sometime after noonish. Or so. Or earlier. Or later. Well I'm off to wrestle chickens. I'll check in with chicks-in .... (har har) later.
