Last night Eddie was very bad. He got out once just before dark. Between Randi with a broom, Don with a water hose, and me with a can of tuna.....we got him in.

Once it became dark, he waited until my back was turned....slid open the screen door and all I saw was his fluffy rear end disappearing up the hill.

Oh what fun he had for the next two hours! Randi pleading in Danish, Don cussing in English....and me crashing through the bush, rolling over walls, crawling under cars and otherwise embarassing myself in dressing gown, flash light and gym shoes.

If we were't working hard enough....he would cry....come very, very close to us....once all eyes were on him....off and running!

Everyone went to bed except me....I sat...looking at Pettalk, until four minutes after midnight when I heard him at the door. I open it and in he sauntered.

So...today he is grounded. And everytime I see his eyes close...."
EDDIE!!!!!!!" Let him be as tired as I am!

Eddie!!! Shame on you for being a bad boy. I don't blame Meowmie for grounding you today. I agree, everytime his little eyes close I say EDDIE!!! time to wake up!

I THINK,THAT EDDIE,MIGHT BE DOING THAT RUN AWAYACT,FOR THE ATTENTION,THAT HE IS RECEIVING.

WHEN JJJ3 RUNS OUT,I LET HIM,HAVE HIS FUN,AS I AM WAY TOO OLD,TO CHASE HIM AROUND.
AND I WOULD JUST CHASE HIM FURTHER AWAY.

I WAIT AN HOUR,OR SO,OPEN THE BACK WINDOW,AND YELL TREATS,AND HE RACES HOME,SO THE KITTEN,SCRAPPY 2,WILL NOT EAT THEM ALL.

Eddie!! You are a bad, bad boy! Auntie Randi is not impressed by your antics! It's not big, and it's not clever. You richly deserve to be poked awake all day!

You little attention-seeker you!

Sounds just like a certain Hilly-Billy West Virginny MUTT!

I'm thankful that da KAT seems to have NO desire to go out.
Matter of fact, Boots won't even come near the front if it's open.

Eddie, Eddie, Eddie. What were you thinking there fella. Your guests shouldn't have to work so hard for their meals.
What a very nawtee boy you were to have your meowmie soooo worried like that. You are lucky if you are going to see the time of day any time soon.

I can picture that scenario in my head. Been there, done that-
broom and all!
Eddie, I’m so glad that you were smart enough to come back.
Phoenix can tell you all about being grounded.

Oh Edwina! Thank you so much for such a good laugh! I know it's not funny;) but I could just picture you chasing little Eddie around in your night gown and tennis shoes and a flash light, as I have done so many times before! I have a note on the outside of my door that says, " Caution, escape cats moving at 1,000 MPH! Dont let them out!"

Well no Mister Eddie...just how smart and cute do you think you are to get away with such a fiasco? I bet you aren't thinking you are too smart today after your grounding huh? Serves you right for being so evil. But there is one good thing. Everyone got to enjoy the fresh air and excercise :p

Nawtee! Nawtee! Eddie you should be grateful you don't live with me. Not only would I wake you up every five minutes, you would be grounded the rest of the year!!!!!
There's creepy things outdoors that could really hurt you!
