Eh, who cares, really? He's happy. I thought the site was funny, but, I don't think he's a lunatic. I definitely think he's eccentric. I don't agree or disagree with everything he's said. But, again, they're his opinions, and, thank goodness we're all allowed to voice ours, too. :) It'll be interesting to see where all this goes, I think it's just a phase. It was Michael Jackson, now, it's Tom Cruise all over the place now that the trial is over. It was Mel Gibson being overzealous at one point, too. To each his own.

I think people need a media focus, someone whom they can pick apart like a leftover turkey. Tom just happens to be next in line.

This is why I'm glad I am not in any way famous. I can be nuts and people will just ignore me :D

Exactly. That's how I feel. I mean, he's made some direct remarks about certain people (ie Brooke Shields), but, she can take care of herself. He's entitled to his own opinion, and, maybe, like she said in the linked article on that site, this is good for helping people be more aware of postpartum depression. But, other than him saying some offensive things, he doesn't appear to be hurting anyone, so, let him rant and rave. As long as Katie likes that he leaps all over furniture and cars, then, whatever. I like the idea of someone being crazy in love with me, but, that would just be embarassing! :D I am interested to see where that relationship goes. I think they're cute together, but, that's about all right now.

Met him years ago and he was a JERK. He was filming here in Dallas near where my (then) husband worked, so he saw him daily. Said he was a JERK daily too, so I didn't just catch him on a bad day.

That website is funny. :D

The site is really funny. Did you read the section on what others thought of Tom? Interesting. And, that's all I've heard about him, too, from fans that have met him. But, again, I'll still watch "Top Gun" and "Legend" for the rest of my life. ;)

Hmmm...I can't get the page to open. :( Maybe later.

I loved War of the Worlds, but I have to agree that Cruise is a bit over the top now. I went to see the movie because it was a Spielberg film, not because Tom was in it. :)

I agree that he has gone over the top, but I don't think that will keep me from movies if I want to see them. Normally the personal lives of celebrities are of no interest to me and I'll watch the movies based on how they look or if the actors are good (although Tom has been especially annoying lately!)

He has opinions that seem odd to me but what makes him seem a bit fruity is that he claims to be an expert in psychiatric illness and medication. I remember when I was in middle and high school and he was like a teen idol figure, lots of girls had Tom Cruise posters from Top Gun and Cocktail in their lockers and rooms. I think he is type cast a lot as an arrogant, self-absorbed character, and I've wondered before if he was acting or if that came naturally :p. I do feel he's done some good acting before, he's convincing in acting out strong emotions. He sure is in the spotlight since that interview with Laur.

I agree with Finn's Mom.

Eh, who cares anyway??

The jerk is in love. I've had just about enough of his antics to last a lifetime!! Hey, I never jumped on couches when I was in love.

Can you say OVERKILL??????

Well, I've felt like leaping onto cars before, when I was in love. And, that's a feeling I think everyone should have. But, I just thought it was a bit much for him to actually carry that out. ;) But, I know at least one person thought it was cool that he was that crazy about her. Again, to each his own.

Remember when Tom Cruise was HOT? Yeah, my memory is getting shorter too!!!
Do you think I would actually base my voting, government conspiracy theories, or my hero worship on what celebrities say? It's about time that a celebrity actually proves why listening to famous people without real education behind them is ludricrous. Give me a Noble Peace Prize winner anytime!!!
I say "Free Katie"!!! Let Brooke take drugs!!! and let Jesus in!!!

The website made national news last night...it was on the Fox News Channel.

It's a funny website.

I personally think the relationship with Katie is a publicity stunt myself. It is just TOO weird. She just broke up with her boyfriend/fiance of 5 years a few months ago. She's only been dating Tom for like 2 months. And now all of a sudden they're planning a wedding.

He practically "auditioned" her to be his girlfriend. Called her to his office and talked to her. Supposedly he had tried to call a few other young Hollywood actresses before her (but I'm not sure if that part is true). I do know its true that he called her to his office for an "interview" of sorts though :o That is why he is so tight lipped when he's asked how they met.

I think he was rude and arrogant with Matt Lauer. I can't believe some of the things that came out of his mouth

Pretty funny site! My all time favorite movie is Rain Man, of course starring Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. His acting abilities aside I think he is pretty much a phony. The jumping on the sofa on the Oprah show makes me think he doesn't know all there is to know about psychiatry because he should see one. LOL! :p

I've never understood the attraction to Tom Cruise. I mean, he's
not ugly or anything, but so not my type at all. Now if you want
to talk handsome, look at Clint Eastwood in his younger days.:D

I've always liked Tom Cruise. I think he is a fantastic actor. He has really been bugging me lately with all of his comments and actions though. This is why I don't like to know too much about celebrities private lives...lol. I just want to admire there talent.

I say its either a publicity stunt or can you say "Mid-Life Crisis"...LOL;) :p

I totally agree :D I like actors who keep their private lives to themselves, personally. I really don't care about that, but I guess a lot of people do.

My favorite older actor is Sam Elliott. He's got the looks and that sexy voice.

I've always thought Tom Cruise was attractive. I think Legend was the first movie I ever saw with him in it, and, I was hooked. He's not as attractive to me anymore, but, I still think he's good looking. I definitely think Clint Eastwood and Sam Elliot are great looking! Especially Sam Elliot, oh, he's awesome. I loved him in "Mask." Johnny Depp and Russell Crowe, as far as actors Tom's age, are still my favorites. :)

Well hey, Janet Jackson graced us with her boob flash... so why can't Tom start bouncing around on a couch like a whacko?

I couldn't care less really - Actor's private lives are none of my business, so long as they don't start trying to control my life.
