Before and after pics-Snowball defeated distemper

Hey everyone. I just wanted to show you guys Snowball, my mom's newest kitten. He had feline distemper and my mom and stepdad nursed him back to health. Here is the before and after pictures. Snowball can hardly stand still for a picture, he's got so much zest for life!

He looks so healthy it's hard to believe he's been sick before.

Yeah it was amazing the difference! The first time I saw him he looked pitiful and he was miserable. Then a little more than a month later ( maybe two), he was doing so much better. He's so funny. He loves this little ball with a bell inside. You can hear him through out the house playing. Also at night time, he sucks the pad of his paw and I am dead serious, he makes the loudest sucking sound. It sounds like a toddler sucking on a passifier.

This is wonderful news.:) He sure looks much better and I hope he's now able to live a long happy and healthy life.:D

What a lucky little boy! I can't say that I know of any who 'beat' this terrible disease.

I'm so happy for him.

(please remember that distemper can live up to a year in the environment, bleaching is essential)
