When our Fister sleeps, we often see his paws, tail and whiskers moving - he is dreaming of course! But, he also has nightmares. :( When he sleeps betweeen us, he will sometimes suddenly jump high in the air like a rocket, with claws ready and make the most peculiar noises. He has obviously had a nightmare and looks SO confused - and he nearly gives us a heart attack! :D Sometimes when he sleeps under our bed, we can hear him banging his head against the bedframe. It often happens when he has been out in his old backyard after being inside for a couple of days.

Have any of you had similar experiences with your kitties?

Oh yes, Noah and Noel dream, a lot! They tremble and sometimes make weird noises...my hubby and I take their paw and say "it's OK, it's OK" and they stop...I know we are probably just waking them a little, but it makes us feel better. :)

Yes, they both do and it's so funny! Sometimes they are making sounds with their mouths as if they were eating something really good. Then, as if they are running really fast, their paws are going back and forth.
Dunno about nightmares, I don't think they've seen any :)

About a week ago, one of my cats was mewoing for several minutes in the middle of the night. It woke me and my furkids up. Then after turning on the light, the loud meowing stopped. I guess she was having a nightmare or some other vivid dream. think it was Fluffy who made all the noise.
