Hi,
First off :DThankyou to you all!:D
Just would like to say I am back. I haven't had much of a chance to chat here lately. We just moved interstate in Australia.
I am happy to say Bastet and her two sisters Mandi and Charlie (two dogs) were very happy at the kennels and reading the forums here about travelling with cats really made the difference.
I would like to recommend that anyone who is moving to do some research on kennels in the local area. The one we found was brilliant.
Bastet was brilliant in the kennels and with the flight. We had no problems and the kennels people rang me every day to make sure I was kept informed of her stay.
The kennels we used made sure that she had her favourite food, her blanket and her mousie to help make sure she was kept entertained. They even had a tall catpole for her which I thought was great. They did a great job.
She has settled in well *better than the humans I think* without all the trauma and cat pee. I used some of the tips here like settling her into one room first. She has her own bed again and full run of the house. We live on land now so she can have a couple of hours outside with our supervision of course. Not that the birds have anything to worry about (Bastet is afraid of them but don't let any of the other kitties know!).
Thankyou all so much for your feedback in the forums. It made my life (and my partner's life) so much easier.
