Today marks an exact month since Flutter came to live with me. Each day that goes by, the harder it is to find her a home.... oh please somebody adopt her before I completely lose my heart to her!

Here she is as of two minutes ago... she napped on my lap for a looonnnnggg time, then decided that she needed a bath
Just look at that face!!!
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y207/runningdad/cleanpaw.jpg

Isn't it the sweetest face EVER?
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y207/runningdad/whataface.jpg

Oh, cleaning is such hard work. I think I'll go back to napping

Anybody want an amazing three legged little girl? Anyone? Please?

Sigh. Perhaps she is catnapper #5.

Kim, you keep doing this! My question to you is, can you let her go? I'm not so sure! Once they have your heart they don't give it back. It belongs to them forever and you have no control over that, at all!!!
Just looking at her pictures tells us all how she got yours! What a precious little doll baby!!!!!!!!

Maybe you just need to say it.....She's mine, all mine and I'm never going to let her go! Then you will feel all better.:)

oh Kim Kim Kim, Just admit defeat. :p You know she has you by the heart strings and there is no way in this lifetime she is going to go live somewhere else. I think you just need to make the Formal Announcement.

Well PT...if Kim is still in denial and can't admit it then I will do it for her....WELCOME FLUTTER TO YOUR FUREVER HOME ! YOU ARE NOW OFFICALLY CATNAPPER #5.

Please everyone welcome the newest member of the catnapper family! :D :p :D

Whats one more kitty? Cats are so easy I have always been a cat person and now I find myself with 2 dogs and no cats.

If you were closer I would really be tempted she is gorgeous. I am telling myself I need to wait to get my puppy grown before I bring in a new member of the family but I miss having a cat so much.

Hmmm... you are all so sure. Please whisper this into hubby's ear. I think we are both wanting to keep her, but neither are willing to be the one that says "she's staying". Napping is fostering no-no #1 - its too easy to fall for them at that point. Hubby knows she naps with me, and he took one himself the other day -- SOOO cute this HUGE man and this tiny little thing that tips the scale at 2 pounds. My youngest daughter also loves Flutter... but then again, who wouldn't love this little girl?

Me thinks "Madame Flutter By" has a home already! YAY! :D Having four with missing leg portions, only one needed amputation of his stump. Hasn't slowed Impy down any. Gabriel is the one I have to watch closely as he's getting a bit...ummm rotund, and has stumps on both hind legs. It was touch & go at first with Gabe as one stump end kept opening up some, and then scabbing over, but now he's got nice calluses on both. :) Skippy's front 'clobber club' gets fluid buildup once in a while, but it makes for a softer smack to the others when he clubs them! :D I think Flutter would fit purrfectly in the center of your siggy...with little petals around her face. ;) :) :D

I kinda liked Jan's suggestion of that siggy and the perfect place for Flutter right in the middle so I thought I would help you on the way and fix that right up for you. :p here it is

You won't.:D

BTW- does anybody else think that little Flutter's face looks similar to Kirsten's Lily? I think so;)

Well, to tell you the truth, if we were still in Baltimore, I'd probably be on the road on my way to your house to get her (since you are thinking of letting her go). But....we're not (we're 3 hours east), so I guess you're gonna have to keep her!

I must admit that when I go out the back door to let Nicki in or out for the thousandth time in one hour ( ) that when I walk back in, and see THREE brown tabbies in my kitchen, my heart swells and I think "gee, how pretty they all look together".

should this be my new siggy? ;)

I must agree. You need to keep one more before you sig is complete! It would only be right of you to take one more. How about one of Jens black and whites to fill the gap?

:)

Nicki needs to be in your sig, too. She can be the 6th.

ok folks... snippet of conversation tonight:

hubby: I am such a push over. We went from where I wanted no cats to 6 cats

Me: 6 cats? We have 7 running around here, but not all are going to stay (notice how I danced around "not all staying" which means, two of the 7 are going, Flutter is staying)

hubby: Look at how sweet she is - she's kneeding dough on my fingers She was! awwwwwww

Me: I can't look. I can't fall in love with her!

Hubby: why not?

Me: *almost fall out of chair*

Hubby: well then you're going to find her a good home!

Hmmm.... what did that all mean??? Is he melting and looking for me to agree she's #6? Ok, I have to admit something: as far as hubby is concerend, Minette is #5. TECHNICALLY I do have 5 cats already: Allen, Pouncer, Harry, Abby, & Minette. He wants to keep her. I do not because I know there's a home out there where she'd be happier. If it was not for her hating other cats, I'd be happily keeping her. She and Pouncer hd a nice fight the other night - Minette 1, Pouncer 0. There were nice clumps of Pouncer hair everywhere. Poor dude. :D

ANYHOOO.... what was that whole conversation about? Him admitting its ok for me to say "Iwant to keep Flutter?" him saying he wants to keep her? Neither of us want tp break and say it first because we both know we will turn around and use it later when its "ut-uh, YOU decided you wanted to keep Flutter" LOL

Oh yes, Nikki most definitley needs to be in the siggy, but she cannot qualify for the 6th little catnapper. (LOL)

isn't it nice how we are planning Kim's family???

yes she is, but perhaps you and Duke need to come to PA and find out for yourselves when YOU pick up Flutter! :D ;)

momcat

That's sounding more and more like a hypothethical question all the time. Apparently Flutter has decided she's going to stay right where she is. And who can blame her? She's already working her charm and magic on pawpie. The siggy has already been revised to put Flutter front and center. Flutter knows she has Meowmie hook, line, and sinker. Okay everyone, how long do you think Pawpie can hold out?

How about Valerie and I come pick up Nicki instead, that way you'll have tons of room for some more "CATnappers" ;) :p

LOL.. nope. She stays forever. I have LOTS of people who would willingly take Nicki off our hands. She's my big girl and I wouldn't trade her in for a whole truckload of Flutters!

I agree with Jen! You need juuuusttt one more to even things out! Love the new siggy, and TELL hubby she's his little kitty...how could he say no?

Kim, I think that is exactly what he is saying. I think he is just waiting for you to say "I want to keep Flutter" because I think he wants to keep Flutter too he just doesn't want to be the one to crumble under the pressure of her sweet little paws and say so.

Just admit to hubby you want to keep her and all will be settled. :p
