now im pissed i am still in this thing for this cat with 3 other people. one of which i got the cat from. im trying to do what the vet said because it will be whats best. but the girl i got it from doesnt want to do any of it because she doesnt think it needs it . she thinks it will be torturing the cat. she says it doesnt need it because its not screaming out in pain so therefore its not in pain. cats mask their pain. and she said it doesnt need to be on its soft diet because it ate the hard food. IT ONLY ATE THE HARD FOOD BECAUSE THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE FOR IT TO EAT!!! ahh i wish i could just slap her im on bad terms with her but im about to write her a nasty letter saying all of this and im going to get a few quotes offline to help back me up GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR i thaught she was my friend well i was wrong i hate her

yes its the same cat and i have to stay in this situation because iv got a discount thing going and the other people would lose all ties to each other and theyd have alot of money on their hands. and the ex "friend" has to stay in it because it was her cat to begin with it was in her yard and i have a feeling she will try to do something bad if i just stole the cat from all of them and gave it to the vet. (which im seriously thinking about) the vet will help it

How,is that Little Cat Doing?I have my new glasses,and will try,that,and the Larger Print,to make my own threads,easier,to read.I hope,that you can help,that Little Cat,and that you can convince,the girl,that is the Cats Guardian,that you want,to help,that Kitty.john below,never showed,that he was in pain,until,I saw his gums bleeding,i had no idea,how ill,he was as he,was hiding from me.
i still feelbadly,that he lsot all,but two,of his teeth,Maybe,if i had been more alert.I hope,that this Cat,has nothing serious wrong,with him,and you can get,him,the care he needs,and a Furr Ever Home,and Prayers,are on thier way.

ok guys this is the deal.

Sarifish (my cousin) and I got together because their was a "stray" cat in her friends neighborhood, who was skinny, and needed medical attention. I work at a vets office, so I told Sarifish to bring it in to get combo testing,shots, hopefully neutered and just a really good exam, because I get 50% off all medical treatment.
While my vet was looking over the cat, he opened his mouth, and noticed a TERRIBLE fungal disease. The kitten has only 3 teeth, bloody gums, very skinny, and just really not a healthy kitten whatsoever. he is 6 months old.
The testing to see if it is 1) a mouth disorder VERY contagious to other cats/animals or 2) to see if it is a auto-immune disorder non contagious but VERY painful for the kitten, with no cure, only pain meds to be continued for the remainer of the kittens life.
Both would be life long disorders, very painful without medical intervention, and a special diet in both situations as well.
I opted to just get the zithroban medication, to see if it helps heal the swollen bloody gums, and then we could disifer if it is the gum disease, or something more intense.
Well we get all the tests, and the medication for the kitten. That is about all we can do at this point, to see if it helps.
BUT.. Here is the problem. I couldnt take the kitten, I just got another sick kitten that I am trying to nurse back to health. Sarah has 2 cats, and if it is contagious, their is not a doubt in my mind her cats will get it as well. So her friend, took it to another one of their friends, who has no other cats.
I talked to my vet, and he said that the cat is absolutely no doubt about it in intense pain, and that it needs continued treatment and special diet to even maintain a happy life(if at all possible). The 2 other girls (whom have the kitten) say no to any other treatment, to basically let it hurt, as long as it doesnt act hurt, it is fine. But everyone knows that cats dont show pain, because it is a sign of weakness. The arent providing special food, and Load knows if they are even giving it the medicine provided to them. That is why Sarifish and I are so VERY pissed off. Because the kitten is hurting and they dont want to do anything else for the cat. I dont know what else to do. I just want to strangle them. It isnt fair, and it is cruelty, plain and simple...

Geez I wish I could do something but I'm on the other side of the world. Do you have a humane society that you could report them to so they could take the kitten and either care for it or have it PTS? Your "friends" obviously are not cat lovers.

I would have the girls bring the kitty back for a "follow up" visit and have the vet explain the seriousness of the situation.

The vet told them at the time the seriousness, but they wont listen. And for the follow up, i doubt they would even "waste their time". I personally dont know either of the two, as they are my cousins friends. All I know is it is ridiculous, and the cat is suffering.

You should just take,the Kitten away,from them,and buy them a stuffed cat doll,as they are not willing,or able,to care,for a Special Needs Cat.That is terrible,and the Cat,is suffering,and can not be a good Kitten,if she,is in all that pain.We are praying,that that Kitten,with the Lords help,can find her proper Furr Ever Home,its a shame,that you are so far away.

That poor kitty! It's not bad enough that kitty is suffering such terrible pain, but this life form REFUSES to give the help poor kitty needs to be at leaset a little more comfortable! That's intentional abuse and neglect! Have you tried to take kitty back? This should definitely be reported and let the consequences be what they're going to be. This isn't a stuffed toy to toss in the closet, it's a living creature capable of feeling and right now she's feeling a lot of pain! Maybe the vet has some ideas.....

unfortunately i am no longer talking to those girls they still have my cat carrier which i am harassing them for. but i sent them an email explaining in detail what the cat needed and i know for a fact there going to try to take it to another vet so hopefully that vet will give them an earfull or possibly take the cat from them... i feel so bad for having to be part of this rediculous situation i should have gone and gotten the cat in the middle of the night instead of letting her help.
