Sorry for the late reply. I am not use to using this type of communication.
I have a Grey Cockatiel named Buddy.

Welcome to PT!! You should talk more in Pet General. I am sure that they would like to see Buddy. You should also introduce yourself in General!!

Thanks for the reply. I have posted a bit about myself earlier, like I said, I 'm not used to chatroom communicating.
I was going to post a picture of Buddy, but the only thing I can find to post with is the IMG button, and it looks like I have to have my photos already posted somewhere on the internet to use this message. Is this right? Or is there a more conventional way of attaching or incerting photos here? Can you help?

Welcome to Pet Talk! Usually you can just attach a picture, but there is some sort of problem with the board and attachments, so until they get it figured out we can't attach. You can go to www.photoshop.com and load pictures there - it's free. Attachments should be working soon! :)

Thanks for the info. I went to the photoshop website you gave to me, but I could find nothing there where I can upload any photos. Maybe I missed something. I am already running Photoshop 7 on my computer for editing and playing.
Guess I will just have to wait til the attachment program is working. I will take a look at Photobucket and see how that works out
I have photos posted at other websites, not all animal photos. I am trying the IMG button using one of them, to see if that works.

Well that didn't work out too well, with the IMG thing.

Welcome to PT & enjoy the talks & pictures
Yes I trouble with my IMG = highlight it & right click go to copy click & then have PT signed on & then to your user cp & edit & paste into your signature.. Good Luck

Well, I undrestand most of the abbreviations here:
highlight it & right click go to copy click & then have PT signed on & then to your user cp & edit & paste into your signature, But plain english would be easier.
When I get to the PT part, I have to guess that stands for Pet Talk? The cp, edit & paste, I got that part, but what is the "signature" that I am supposed to be pasting into? I am not seeing any place that indicates where a signature would be located.
I have tried the copy and paste route from my own photos, but the "paste" part comes up blank whe I go to put it in the message. Says I can't "You may not post attachments" anyway.

Wow I must have been tired when I posted before. I meant Photobucket, not Photoshop. I am really sorry. I was at work and probably doing too many things at once. Sorry!

Thanks for letting me know that I wasn't really missing something in Photoshop.
I cheated anyway, and looked at the properties of your pictures and them went to Photobucket and registered. Haven't uploaded any photos yet, as the hour was late and today was already promised. Going to have to downsize most of them so they will be acceptable at the website and won't be too big for this one.
Anything in particular I should know about sizes for Pet Talk?
Appreciate the help.

Not really, just keep them under 600 or so pixels wide, so they don't distort the thread borders!

Thank You.
Most pics I have are 2856 x 1904 pixels, and I knew that I would have to neck them down, but knowing the limitations is a real help as well as a time saver.
Thanks much,
COODEW
