Ok, so last Thursday we got new cell phones. So I spent most of Thursday night putting all my contacts and numbers in. I'm loving the new phone so I'm text messaging like crazy and I send my husband SEVERAL racy text messages. And I'm a little PO'd because he doesn't text me back. He gets home after I got to bed so I kinda forget about it.

Saturday morning I get a call. I think it's from my hubby cuz his name pops up with the number, but he's still sleeping....and his phone is right next to mine. Hmmmm.

So the start of the converstion goes something like this:

"Yeah, you've been text messaging me all week-end and I don't know who you are. And my girlfriend is starting to get really mad!"

OMG, I'm dying! I apologize profously and explain what happened, that I'd copied my hubby's number in wrong. I apologize some more and even offer to talk to the ticked off gf, just in case she's still miffed. He's says, no...it's all cool. I apologize again and tell him I'll fix the number right away and to have a good week-end.

So I go in to tell the hubby what happened and he laughed his a$$ off for like a full minute. Then he stops and tells me that to that total stranger on the phone, I'll forever be random sexy text message girl.

If any of you knew me, you'd know that this was a total classic Kat!

I'd be soooo thankful it wasn't someone that actually knew who you were!! This way no one can use it against you (except for hubby, maybe.) :p :p

So, you aren't perfect - haven't met anyone yet that is...........

But just think about how you can laugh and laugh over this with your hubby for years to come.

It's still MUCH better that you sent these messages to somebody you don't know. Just imagine you had to look into his eyes in real life again:D :p

I was once visiting my sister and went to use her computer. Her ICQ came on.....a sexy message comes up....I ignore it....it happens again...I ignore it....the third time I respond..."this is her sister"...."oh...so sorry! Have a nice day!"

Sara, a similar thing happened to me, shortly after Scott and I got married. He was away on a business trip, and someone kept jumping in on the MSN Messenger, and I could tell it was a woman by what she was saying (at least it wasn't too provocative). When he called me that night, I said "some woman has been trying to reach you on the IM" and I was really teasing him, but wasn't one bit worried. Well he got all upset and said that he had told her not to message him anymore as he was getting married, etc. LOL!!! And I was just joking with him, but he worried over that for a long, long time. :) She never messaged him again after I answered her and told her that I was his wife and would let him know that she had been in touch! LOL!!!
