Oh Elsie, how adorable can one dog be? I am thrilled a Schnauzer for dog of the day. I have two Schnauzers Miss Daisy who is black and Perry who is salt and pepper. Elsie had a terrible start in life but she sure does have a nice family who has given her a forever home and she gets to travel and go to so many different places. Her new life must be like heaven to her. She certainly deserves it.
I know Perry would love to have your picture pinned up on his condo. Congratulations dear sweet Elsie, the most beautiful and friendly Very Best Dog of the Day.

A girl can never have enough shoes; and you are the perfect little model for your au currant footwear:D And what a traveler! I was so excited to hear you visit NJ and Cape Cod. The two places I have lived in my life! Elsie looks adorable and it's obvious you take very good care of her. You are wise to have her wear boots. Congrats on Dog of the Day! I grew up and lived in L.I.C./Astoria - actually, exactly the first 2/3ds of my life - before I moved to Georgia where my husband and I have 6 cats (the oldest cat is also from Astoria). I visit once or twice a year. I have suggestions if you &
Elsie haven't tried them. Roosevelt Island is close by and I believe they have some nice areas for dogs to run, worth a try and definitely a pleasant place in general. Years ago I used to walk there over the bridge for fun but obviously, that wouldn't be good for Elsie. That new station (new to me, anyway) at Queensbridge goes right to Roosevelt Island. The Q19A bus that
runs on 21st Street conveniently leaves you off right at the Queensbridge station shortly before it turns on towards Queensboro Plaza. Also, Astoria Park is still nice and has big, roomy lawns great for dogs! Forgive me if I've told you things you already know but if not, I hope these ideas are helpful. Enjoy!
