View Full Version : Who Gets into more trouble.....puppies or human toddlers?
As I was spraying shower cleaner in my shower this morning I reminded myself not to let Bella in the bathroom for a while. You see she has the habit of licking off the droplets on the side of the shower and I didn't want her ingesting any chemicals. This made me think that possibly puppies can get into more mischief than their human counterparts. Aside from the fact that they both find a way of getting everything into their mouths, what other similarities/differences do you note? I think maybe if some people who adopt puppies were more aware of just how difficult it can be watching and safeguarding them from their surroundings they might be very surprised.

I had the pleasure of raising someone else's children. 5 of them all under the age of 6 at the time.... including the TWINS!!! I loved those kids with all my heart and they brought me much joy...unfortunately for them they are back with their Mother.... I expect to see them on an episode of "Jerry Springer" before too long:( :( Anyway, My Husband and I have made the decision that we will have "Furry Children" instead of "Two Legged" After going through the five. I find furbabies much easier to raise............much, much, much easier.:) Besides the only difference really is I don't have to buy them a car. I don't have to put them through College. I don't have to , NOt like their friends because I KNOW who they are.....Like real kids, I still have to pick-up after them, they still talk back, and they still get spoiled rotten by Grandama!:D

I only have 1 furry baby and she was a handful. In a few years I may be able to determine who gets in more trouble. I just hope my human babies are as cute as my Sadie!
LoudLou - I think 5 puppies or 5 babies would be too much to handle!

Yes either way 5 is/was way tooooooo many. That's why my husband and I only have 3 furbabies. Once you exceed the parent to child ratio it gets too hectic.;)
LoudLou, puppies get "housebroken" faster than toddlers that's for sure! :D The thought came to me that maybe puppies are harder to keep an eye on because of Bella licking the tub. I never had a child do that! HA! Also kids don't tend to chew electrical cords and so forth. In any case, both need constant watching but at least they both eventually outgrow these potentially dangerous things and turn into nice adult dogs and hopefully nice adult humans!
