I have a cat [Snowball ] I have had for over a year now [ got her as a baby out from under my bedroom floor] & now since my son is going through a divorce [ he is never home now]so I have his cat [Garfield ] because it was easiers to bring him here than go over there to feed etc him. WELL Snowball [a girl] hisses at him a lot & he chases her all over the house etc so how can I get them to like each other better ? [ both are fixed ] They are to the point where they can be in the same room together but she is haveing a hard time getting used to another cat in her territory & well they ever get to likeing each other ?

There's honestly not much you can do, beyond trying not to play favorites, and praising them when they do interact well. Cats are contrary beasts, and will do what they will. Some like to be around other cats, others prefer to be solitary. There's really not much you can do to force them to be the opposite of what they are.

When we got our second cat, I went through the same thing. It took a little while, but they are friends now and really get along. At first, I had to keep their food seperate, and try to spend exactly equal amounts of time with each. Just give them time, they will learn to get along.
