.... does he/she grap it from the bowl and eat it off the floor?

I've noticed Fister doing that, and it's mostly when I give him yummy food. He just has to eat it from the floor. If it's a piece of raw fish, liver or shrimp, he often runs away with it.

Mine will do that sometimes. I like when they grab it with their paws and eat right out of their "hands".

Our Annie does this, our little baby girl. :)

Lilith doesn't do that but Vixen does it all the time. She loves her belly.

Mobius picks food out of the bowl and eats out of her paw. She even drinks out of her paw sometimes! Bubba flips the kibbles on the floor and eats them there. Silly kitties!

Groucho has never been a picky eater and has never snubbed anything offered for dinner. Since the first day I had him he would go to his dish, take some kibble in his mouth, walk backwards three or four steps, drop it all on the floor then lay down on his tummy and eat one piece at a time. I've often wondered why he dines that way but have never figured it out. I guess as long as he eats there's nothing to worry about. Cats do the darndest things!!!!!
