I just had to share! Kahlua's starting to wise up! She was out and about for most of the evening last night, had one squabble with Zelda and one chase with Mowgli (where I don't think she laid a claw on him, but just followed him around).
I'd go mess around on the computer and peek out and check on her and she'd be chilling on the back of the couch (with Mowgli and Zelda on the windowsill behind the couch). So I'd go over and see how Mowgli and Zelda were doing. Zelda was snoozing away, but poor Mowgli was all tense and wide-eyed and pressed up against Zelda like she's his security blanket. :(

I know,what you are going through,as Pouncette,still has ,to be locked,in the spare bedroom.When any,of The Found Cats,comes near her,she growls,and spits at them,andall they usually want,to do,is to get past her ASAP,so she is not hisssing at them.I ahve the feeling,taht Kahlua,will be part,of the Family,one day,and I am prayoing,That Pouncette,gets the Message,One Day Soon,Too.

Poor little Mowg Monster! Kahlua really put the fear in him didn't she? What happened to that wild little boy that you first brought in? It must be rough to be the only boy in house, huh Mowg? At least you have your wonderful sister Zelda to play with and protect you.
I hope this is a good sign Lacey and hopefully Mowg will start to relax if Kahlua backs off some. Poor little guy!:(

...I seem to have turned him into a wussy Meowmie's boy (not that I'm complaining).
But Kahlua at least seems to be starting to learn not to fight (or play fight or whatever it is she thinks she's doing).
It was a little funny watching Mowg get chased last night, because he just kinda trotted into my computer room with Kahlua following, and then he took off at full speed, did a Pip-flip off the window to get turned around real quick, and zoomed right out. If only he would just realize that Kahlua just wants to play with her bratty big bubber!

I had to smile at the image of poor Mowgli. Sounds like things are starting to simmer down. Perhaps soon Mowgli will be able to let his gaurd down and trust the newbie.
