Sky Likes To Lick My Computer Chair

Hi everyone.:) The last few weeks I've noticed that Sky has been licking my computer chair. It's a fabric chair and he licks the back of it. He also likes to scratch the cat trees and condos to get pieces of carpet to come off so he can eat them. Is this strange behavior? Is he lacking something in his diet? I've heard that some cats like eating wool and other fabrics so maybe he's just one of these cats. What do you think?

I joke around that Basie has pica (the desire to eat non-food items)...but I think some cats just do that.

Kelly's right - I think it's a case of kitty-pica. My RB Goldie used to nibble the little fabric pills off of blankets.
