Like by changing the name of the breed, just for fun?

Raustyk my rott is actually a Viking Fightin Dog

My ex's dog is really a red husky (maybe pure bred, maybe a slight mix) we called him a Guatemalan Red Beagle.

I'm sorry I re-read my post & it is confusing.
I was not talking about actually breeding dogs & making a new breed or anything, there's no need for it as there are too many dogs without homes as is.
But what I ment is to re-name a breed. Sorry for the confusion

Not here... Not so many atleast... All dogs that are homeless are homeless for like 2hr and then the polic take them and send them to stockholm or to a home for dogs...

[talking about euthenizing dogs]The nightly process begins with "the list," which is drawn up by shelter director Norma Torres.

"The smallest could be 10, but they average 25," she says. "It could go as high as 35. I don't think I've ever gone more than 40.
and this is just at one shelter in one city, this happens all over in almost every city shelter in every city in the country nightly.

When my mom was little they had a St. Bernard and a Great Dane that had puppies and they were dubbed the Great Saints!
Some nicknames I have for different breeds:
beagles = BAGELS,
DalmatiAns = DAMNATIONS,
JRT = jack russell TERRORS,
Rottweilers: ROTT'Nweilers
Labs are LAPradors
hmmm, thats all I can think of...

We call Kiara our Rottie mix a Bratweiler or a Rottwurst. ;)

My mom was making bratwursts one night and accidently called Kiara her "Little Bratwurst" ;)

WOW, that really got to me, brings a tear to my eye to hear and read that. God, I haven't cried in 5 years, but that got to me, it hurts to think about the process, and that the animals don't understand why they are in the shelter, why their life is like it is, is it supposted to be like that. God that is sad. I had to comment, because I will never forget this one show I used to watch, something like Animal Precinct. ON animal planet, and they had a pit puppy, and had to euthanize it, just because it was a pit. It was so kind, no problems, a bundle of tail wagging love and joy. It hurts to think you can't save them all,
:( no matter how hard you try

We call mine a Hogendoss Hunting Hound, but that is more of a play on her love for food and her unexplained weight problem. but still, she is our own breed.

Niño's breed has a new name, the American wirestaff terrier
he has the flashy showyness of a wirehaired terrier (and a bit wirey hair) and the stockyness and muscle of an APBT or Am Staff.
