Well, the vet checkup went well. The little tyke is only 1/2 a pound, no temperature, no fleas and the vet said he probably has a slight virus as he can see a slight infection in his left eye, even though it is looking better. He is to be quarantined for 10 days from the other cats.
I have an ointment that I have to put in Kitty's eye once a day, for about 4 days, but if it should get worse, then I put it in 2-3 times a day. I also have a highly riched tin of food to give him for a week to put weight on him as he could feel his ribs. The vet said that he is about 4 weeks of age. I bring him back in 3 weeks for his first set of shots.
So all in all he did well.

Now for some pictures that I took last night.

I didn't realize his little tongue was sticking out when I took this picture. Sooo cute.

Playing with the cord from my camera. Sorry for the blurriness.

No Donna and I am trying very, very, VERY hard not to name him. He is still just "Kitty".

I called the no kill shelter yesterday and they said that they are so filled up right now with kittens that they have no room for anymore at this moment. She said she will call me back when space becomes available. I know the longer I keep this little tyke the harder it is going to be for me to let go. *SIGH*
I have to keep reading what Jen wrote about fostering and how to let go.

I am glad his visit went well. Ask the no kill if they would admit him with YOU as the foster home. You can DO it!!!! I know you can. :)

Oh... what a beauty! Such a wonderful little fluff-ball!!! If you do decide to give kitty a name... and you're looking for something unusual and funky, might I suggest you try this (http://www.geocities.com/debverhoeven/cats/namemachine.htm) ? One things for sure, you'll have a laugh seeing what the machine comes up with!!!

How absolutely ADORABLE!!!!! Little Tyke could not be any cuter, you just want to pick him up and hug him. He looks so alert, and those eyes. Guaranteed to melt the hardest of hearts. There are so many things I really like about Pet Talk.......... It's wonderful how everyone falls in love instantly with everyone else's kittys. Have a long, healthy, happy life filled with love, caring and tummy rubs, little luv !!!!!

I can't see the pictures of him, but it sounds like he's absolutely adorable! If he weighs a half pound, he's a little tinier than my Little Orphan Annie! He's the same size Angel was when we got her---and she was eight weeks old at the time. I absolutely LOVE little tiny baby kittens, and small baby kittens, and medium baby kittens, and large baby kittens, and cats of all sizes, etc., etc., etc.!!!:)

Oh Lorraine, what a perfectly adorable little cutie pie!!! I'm so glad your neighbor knew enough to bring him to you. And I have to say, evidently the neighbors have no problem with the number of animals you have if they bring new ones to you....especially ones as adorable as this that they must know you will have a hard time giving up! ;)

I will call them again and keep telling me that I can DO it Jen, because I know I have only had him since friday, but this little tyke is pulling at my heartstrings, BIG TIME.
Especially when I am holding him, and his tiny widdle paws touch my face and then he gives me widdle kissies on my mouth as if to say, "Thank you for taking me in and loving me." The look on his face just melts my heart. *SIGH*

I try NOT to spend to much time with him, only to go into the room to feed him and make sure he is going potty. But he is still so tiny that he needs comforting. *SIGH*
