First off, hello all, nice place you have here.

The wife and I have 4 lovely cats, Charlie (aka Sexpest), Gabanna (aka Gab), LeeLoo (aka Bud) & Jasmin (aka Squeaky).

Now, the problem we have is with Squeaky, she's the youngest of the bunch (a couple of years old) and is quite a nervous cat, whenever she gets a fright (or if shes very excited due to petting etc) she squirts a foul noxious fluid from her rear end.

This only really happens once every few months but, is slightly worrying, not to mention a bit nasty when it happens on your bed / pillow :(

I know EXACTLY! My Y.Lee did that, and he was not even a nervous cat. It is anal gland fluid. The best way to prevent the glands from emptying where you don't want them to, is to have them expressed on a regular basis. Your vet, or a pet goomer can do this for you. You could learn to do it yourself, but be prepared for a stinky mess.

By the way.......WELCOME to pet talk, you will love it here.
