I'm getting a CAR!!

and not just any car, a freakin CAMARO! I'm SO excited! my Dad just took it in to get smogged and checked and he's picking it up tonight, and it runs really well. . its a 97, but it looks SO good! It's silver (dark silver, not cheesey silver) V6 with a black top, and a T-top, and a really nice sound system :) All for $6500! It only has 90k miles too. I *promise* I'll post a bunch of pictures up here when I get it. . OMG thisissoawesome!! I've wanted a Camaro forever, but my dad said the insurance is too high, too high performance, blah blah blah. . but he finally gave in ^_~

I cannot wait to drive this around. . now, just to GET my license! LMAO! I'm taking my test next week. Please pray for me :)

LUCKY!! I get to drive in 10 months and the only way I am getting a car is either if I pay for it all the way myself, or if our 1994 Jeep cherokee makes it through the summer and I am willing to pay my parents more than they would get in for a trade in.

If he got it out of a used car lot.. id say most definitly.

did he drive it around to see if it wants to surve to one side of the road or the other? check tires,, and look underneath for signs of rust and poke around on it?

getting a used car is risky bussiness... sometiems it takes more to fix them up...then to buy a brand new car...LOL

then there are some cars that are just really awesome. they dont require anything but new spark plugs...

like Subarus. lordy.. those things just keep running and running.

THANKS for all the congrats and replies, you guys! :D It runs SOOOO nice. . its SO fast. Of course, I won't be driving fast or anything ;)!! Vette, he took it in to one of his friends, who owns an auto shop, and he said its in really great condition. An older lady bought/owned it, and its like in mint condition. . its not from a dealer, thank gawd. I'm in love with this car. I drove around and showed it off to everyone I even remotely know, LMAO, they're all soo jealous. Awesome ^_^

aw, thanks! SOON, I hope I'll be driving it around town! I know, I'm so lucky. . my sisters are soo jealous. They have really nice cars now, but their first cars barely ran :p. . thats what I get for being the baby!
