drew my bunny has sometimes not been using his litter box.. today he peed in his empty veggie tray .... and he also peed on top of the top of a litter box(the kind with a hole to jump into) wich i have just on floor of cage like a house. not connected to litter box.. does anyone know what this means? hes been soo good to use the litter box. is this a territorial issue? or is he just getting old? i dont know how old he is, someone told me they shed more when they get old, HE IS ONE HECK OF A SHEDDER lol

Might he have a Urinary Tract Infection? Maybe time for a vet trip. Is he neutered? (I forget) Some intact males need to mark their territory.

Miss Hoppy, being a typical bunny, has a "big shed" twice a year, in the "sping" and the "fall" - otherwise she just sheds a little, but at those times, you'd swear more fur comes of than a whole rabbit holds! I pet her outside then, so the wind can take it away, and I am sure all the baby birdies in my neighborhood grow up with the softest bunny-fuzz-lined nests!

Thelmer is going through her big spring shed too. We also pet her and brush her outside. :)
