Someone coldheartedly shot and killed her precious Rottie (Dana) right in her own backyard!:( This happened during the brief time that Willie had left her house to drive a friend home. Her son and son-in-law found Dana, and apparently removed her before Willie returned. However, Willie is very upset that she wasn't able to say "goodbye" to her most precious Dana. She is (as you can certainly imagine) in a very sad and mournful way right now. She has to deal with not only the loss of her dear companion, but also the cruelty that was needlessly done. :mad: Please pray that Willie will be able to mend her broken heart and that whatever "so-and-so" did this, will be found and punsihed!

I'm so sorry to hear this Willie. I can't believe something like this would happen. Dana will always be in our hearts and whoever's else's she touched. :( You will always live on Dana!

I am so saddened by this news. Willie, please find comfort in the fact that Dana knew how much you loved her. I know it must be horribly difficult to try and live with this happening. I hope that Dana is playing and happy at the RB. She will not forget you and will be waiting to see you again. I am so sorry. There's really no words we can say to heal you but I hope you'll at least find comfort from all your friends here at PT.

Willie, I am so so sorry, Losing my own not to long ago, I know nothing I can really say to make your loss any better, but my prayers are with you. As hard as it it, just try to keep the good memories with you and don't focuses on the lose, as much, like I did, it will only bring you down more. The lose of a loved one hurts, but the memory of that love, can bring you joy, if you let it.

I'd like to think that Brock and Cannilla are there now with your Dana, running and playing, happy together, knowing that we still love them and our memories of good times will always keep them alive, till we see each other again.

I know not that long ago (although it seems like yesterday) we lost our rottie boy and it tore us up. I just can't imagine the thought of some one shooting him. It must hurt so bad. Please know that I am here if you EVER need anything.

Those are beautiful pictures of Dana, Anna and Val. Willie, I wish I knew what to say. Words seem so hollow in the face of a shocking tragedy like this. We all mourn your beautiful girl with you. Some things the heart can never completely heal from. I do know she is watching over you from above, awaiting the day when someday you will be joyfully reunited.
