Lucky you!! I've always wanted to own a Great Dane, but my backyard is way too small.

My favorite breed right now is the Chihuahua, because they're so tiny and lovable and full of personality. :) I also love Retrievers, because I adore my Lady and she's a Flat-Coated Retriever.

My fave dog is the Jack Russell Terrier, she is called Leika. She is my fave 'cause she is really intelligent, and playful, I love those floppy ears!:cool:

PS: my parents have a rescue Great Dane, and you're right, they're wonderful! Lizzie is so gentle and intelligent.

**Barbiro, a big Dane needs less space than you'd think! My parents have a tiny yard, but they take Lizzie for a long walk once or twice a day and allow her to have one off-leash run each day. She's content to snooze and hang out in the house the rest of the time. She's quite a couch-potato!

Any Dog is my favorite dog.......But I LOVE Corgi's. Louie is a Corgi and they are such a special breed... the biggest clowns! Anyone else here have Corgi's??:)

To LoudLou: i have a nephew who has a Corgi in California. He looks exactly like the picture posted here. I think Corgi's are beautiful and very smart.

To Kobieeli: I've always heard that Great Danes require a huge backyard. Since I was small I've always wanted to own one, but every time I need to make a decision about a breed, I just can't inmagine a dog that huge being inside the house. Not that I wouldn't want him next to me inside the house, I would just be too afraid of him/her breaking things, like my ceramics or crystal decorations. With smaller/medium breeds I don't have that worry. I guess I'm just waiting until I purchase a bigger home, or a 5-acre ranch, so the GD will have a place to run free without me having to worry. Since you know one personally, what are they like? I think they are so beautiful, especially the Harlequin kind.

I love all dogs, however if I have to pick one it would be the Mini Schnauzer.
I have two, Miss Daisy and Perry.

If I had to pick a second dog I think it would be the Standard and Giant Schnauzer and the Standard Poodle.

I love all dogs also! I've always owned mixed breeds and I think I always will. I love the looks of dogs like Great Pyrnees, Bernese Mountain dogs, leonbergers...Can you tell I like big hairy dogs? I would also love a Great Dane, a big black one...:) BUT my house is just too small right now! SOMEDAY!!

I've become a fan of yellow labs, this is the 2nd one I have had, and they are perfect for me, lazy, and very loving.

My first dog was a Collie, ok, it was great at the time, but it was dumb as dirt, it later suffered from seizures, my aunt had 2 collies, 1 had seizures, the other was always sick... Wasnt till later I learned about how inbred certain dogs can get from bad breeding.

my fav dog would have to be the Sheltie i have 2 and they are the sweetest things! I have hugo who is 8 and then i have Daisy who is 5. They are also the most loving when ever i feel said they always comfort me but i love all breeds they are all cute! :D

Well............I love Golden Retrievers!! I have two of them. Labrador Retrievers are right up at the top of my list too. And I have a "dream" dog to go along with my Retrievers...an English Bulldog. One day I hope to be able to tell you that I have finally gotten one!! :D

Even though I own a Chihuahua, I still favor the Doberman. If I had a place large enough to have one I would have had one a long time ago. I almost bought a mini-pin, but ended up with Tess (no regrets) she's a doll:) I just love the long pointy ears!!!

Just looked the Leonberger up on the net - what a gorgeous dog. Looks like the Great Pyrenees and the St. Bernard. This is quite a rare breed, don't recall ever seeing them in a dog show, I know they originate in Germany.

We got him shortly after DE's death and he is black and white so it's kinda like BiLo, "The Name Fits" :p

I met some (Leonbergers) at a rare breed dog show a few years back. They are very large and adorable. They are also gentle giants. They are very expensive. :)

I must say, the Pugs cought my eye! They're wrinkled up bundles of joy! I love thier color also. I like the min. Dachshunds also,(even though i have 2!):p

Hi! :) I love Irish Wofhounds but unfourtonutley I don't own one:( The Irish Wolfhound is my favourite breed of dog and I would do anything for one!!!:D I just think that they are really gorgeus and I like big dogs. They also have a really great persoinality:D :) I recently got to go to a breeder to see some Irish Wolfhounds but my mom says I still can't have one:( Probobly better for the dog anyway... we don't have a very big house or backyard:(
