Well, Emma has become very interesting in outside, she peeks out when I let the dogs in/out and is always in the window.
Today is a very nice day, no wind and you don't need a sweater.
So I decided to take her out in the backyard in her harness, and used one of the dog's retractable(sp) leashes.
She was cautious but very curious, we were only out for about 10 minutes, and she did not forget which way was *in* and after a little bit of smelling and looking around, she was in a hurry to go back inside, where it's safe ;)
I took a couple pictures so I could share Emma's new experience with you all!

She is so beautiful! And the scenery behind her is pretty awesome as well....great pictures as always!
We have a fenced backyard and my husband took my big guy, Kunan, out for a few minutes yesterday. It was so funny! He didn't know which way to go first, what to sniff...big eyes and you could practically see him vibrating with excitment!

I take my two outside in the backyard and supervise them. We have a few cats around here that come into the yard. Last time out Chianti came nose to nose with one of them behind a tree. Luckily I had a broom and was sweeping. When I say her looking at something funny I went over to her. As soon as he other cat saw me with the broom it hightailed it out of the fence. Simon was out too but he was on the other side of you yard or I bet he would have started to fight. He is the posessive, alpha one.
Your kitty is cute and I bet would just love the outdoors.

I would like,to let The Found Cats,out,but the neighborhood,is not condusive,to Cats,wandering,as there are Dogs,Cars,ane Mean Kids!I wish,that I could get,out,of this place,sometimes!But,the Cats are used,to the house,and the Strays would miss,thier dinners!

I definatly got the idea that Emma had never been outside(or maybe not in a very long time). I don't think she even blinked out there! ;)
I'm so glad that this street is very safe, the entire back-yard is also fenced.
