The've shown this to the high school kids around here. (in school) If it helps keep one person from drinking and driving, then it's worth it.

I think I've seen her story before on a tv show. My moms ex boyfriend and love of her life decided he'd drive himself home after a long drinking night at the bar with friends. The truck hit the back of a familys house, knocked over a light pole, and stopped after crashing into the neighbors brick shop. He spent about 3 days in the hospital before dying. Luckily no one was in the room of that familys house, and he was the only one in the vehicle but it left my mother devastated, she visited the street once but has never gone back there, when I asked her a question about him a year ago she started to cry so I know for a fact she still hasn't gotten over it :( I'm sorry for Jacqueline having to survive with physical scars, and I'm sorry for my mom having to continue on with the emotional scars.

My nephew was hit by a drunk driver in May 2002. He lost his left leg and was in UNLV medical center for months. He has had countless surgeries since then to try and repair the external and internal damages from the accident. His life will never be the same.
The woman who hit him is in prison.

It's things like your guys stories and websites like this that make me choose to keep my decision of not drinking at all. I don't like the way drinking makes people (depending on how much you drink) but I've had too many experiences with drunk people. I don't want to be responsible for my actions under the influence.
