My Husband's Dog, Anastasia a Bernese Mountain mix w/ Malimute has been out of the blue sick.. J5 says that she has consitantly vomit and vomit... We have 4 Pitbulls -2 are sold- and they aren't reacting to anything... Is it possible that Anya has Parvo? Or What do you guys think? She will drink water, but she refuses to eat... So Im concern...
Help... Since J5 loves that dog... So Im kind feeling sorry for it...

She could have one or more of many many possibilities, parvo could be one. Poison, corona, distemper, just sick, the list can go on & on & on.
How old is she?
Has she been vaccinated before?

I would get her to the vet ASAP, especially seeing as the weekend is almost here.

Good luck with your sweetie, oh & welcome to pt!

vomiting and no diarrhea with a sudden onset one might suspicion pancreatitis. Sometimes the dog will appear to be in pain, especially when its abdominal area is examined.

Important- if it is pancreatitis then under no circumstances should you attempt to force feed the dog. The usual treatment is rest for the digestive system, along with IV fluids, and antibiotics.

Puppy needs to go to the Vet as soon as possible.

wow, thats a lot of possiblities... She does have diarrhea. She wont move much, but drinks water... And she looks poorly skinny...
J5 is trying every way he can to get her better. Shes not even a year old. Say maybe 4.5-5 months old.
I dont think she has her shots...but J5's mom said that the owner did... I dont see proof of that.

Thank you for the warm welcoming of PT. Its exciting to be on here.

Please get the dog to the vet asap! We just had another case here recently on Pet Talk where the dog wouldn't eat and it turned out to be Parvo...the quicker it is caught the better.
Has the dog gotten into anything? Puppies are fomous for it! My roommate used to leave butter on the counter to soften and Duncan ate it. Of Course! The vet said that can cause pancreatitis, too much butter. Let us know how she is doing and what the vet says.

And of course, Welcome to Pet Talk!

How is it that you posted about her symptoms on the 15th of this month, and now claim that she passed on the 12th?

This is your post on April 15th:

What did the vet say? Also, your two dogs in your sig didn't even live to be a year old even though the dates aren't close to each other. I suggest either getting the shots they need ALL the time or not having any animal if you can't care for them properly. But then, we've been all through this.
