I prefer median and large dogs, although small ones are cute too. Large are my kind of dog though!:D;)

Size does not matter to me.

I can't stand when people say they only like big dogs, or they only like small dogs. I think it is the same as them saying I only like white people ect. People shouldn't judge ANYTHING by how they look.

I don't dislike any dog based on size. :) As for what size of dogs I personally would like to have I prefer dogs around 40-60 lbs...I guess that would be medium-large. I like dogs that "look" big but aren't so big you can't pick them up if that makes sense. I can't say I'd never have a small dog or a giant dog in my lifetime though, who knows!

I pretty much love all dogs but I don't see me as a small dog person at all, the only small breeds I'll probably ever own is a Dachshund or a Papillon. I'm more of a medium to large dog person:)

I love all dogs regardless of their size, but I definitely prefer medium-large dogs.

I like them all and can't pick one that I prefer over the others. I want my next two dogs to be a tiny Yorkie and a huge Great Dane, hehe. Reece and Lolly are small & medium dogs so I need the tiny and the huge to complete the family!

I like all dogs, but tend to gravitate towards little ones for myself. When I work at the shelter I get to work with lots of big ones.

Size does matter to me. :) As much as I love to see and hear about Giant Breeds (Bon comes immediately to mind), I'd never get one, because of the short life spans and all that drool. I have to hide my eyes during quite a few of the scenes in "Turner and Hooch", because all that drool makes me squeamish.

Having large and small breeds, I have to say I love both. When I'm out walking with Oz or Gully and feel all secure, I think man it's great to have a big dog. When I'm carrying Murph around in my arms or he's sitting in my lap, I think man it's great to have a small dog. I got the best of both worlds. :)

40 lbs and up, so medium to large is what I would pick when looking to buy or adopt a dog.

I would prefer a medium-large breed, myself. :) I wouldn't like to have a small dog, because I like a big body to wrap my arms around, and I like to feel protected and safe. I'm also constantly paranoid about stepping or sitting on my rats -- and they are usually in their cage all day! I would worry too much. Giant breeds are great too, but they don't live very long and they can't do alot of physical activity, so they aren't the dog for me.

I have a small and medium size now, but would like a large size. I love all pups, no matter the size.

I prefer medium-large dogs, like in the size range Amy suggested.
That doesn't mean i'd love a little dog any less.

Awww, everyone needs a little "Bon Topping" in their lives!!
Quite honestly, after staying a week with Bon, he doesn't drool badly at all. The only time his topping mode ;) is activiated is when food is introduced, or he drink and water drips. It's really not bad at all.

Well I voted large as 2 of mine are more or less in that catagory. I'm not sure at this very moment if I'd have another giant breed again (he sure is a handful at the moment, a 9 mo old puppy in a 120 lb body:eek: );) But like Par said they don't have a long life expentency but then again rotties really don't either and look at Angus, he lived to be almost 13! I honestly feel it's all in the way you take care of them.

Kay, you make me laugh everytime you say that:D
And she's right, he usually doesn't drool very much. It's just when the food comes out or he drinks...then he is EXTREMELY drooly:o

I voted large, I love big dogs! My two aren't real big, 70 and 90 lbs. My RB shepard/collie Corey was 100 lbs. The smallest dog I ever had in my adult life was 35 lbs. I sure I'll have smaller dogs in the future but right now I like big! :D
