They tend to swarm.

They are a collective.

They all do the same things at the same time.

Let's go wash our faces over here, now let's go climb the cat post and jump onto the trunk. Now let's go dove in the litter box.

:p

I look up nice words in Italian. Like: beautiful, playful, pleasure, kiss

and if they still sound nice in English, I got a name!

I love the Italian names.:D
Four little meezer kittens at once!
You are so lucky!
I think I like Tivoli the best.
Is she a Snowshoe?
I think I see white feet.
Isn't there a Tivoli Gardens in Italy?
I think I have been there.
Someday I just may adopt a female Snowshoe kitty from Siamese Rescue and name her Sicily.:)

Tivoli is a garden.

My Tivoli is technically a mitted blue point. She's listed as a snowshoe, but she will turn silvery blue, not chocolatey brown.

I looked up Tivoli Garden on Google and it's actually in Copenhagen, I thought for sure it was in Italy.
I also looked up your foster kittens on Siamese Rescue to see their color descriptions.
I love to check out the pretty kitties there from time to time.
I had my eye on Cleo in New Hampshire who recently got adopted, she is a beautiful Showshoe girl with the cutest toes.
I always love to see photos of your foster kitties Rose, thanks for sharing them with us.:D

Tivoli is originally an Italian town with a famous villa, the Villa d'Este- which means a noble landhouse surrounded by a garden. Near Rome. This villa was so well known that the name of Tivoli would be used for other gardens and fun parks- as in Copenhagen;)

I think it is a very good name for a fun kitty:)

When I was a kid I had a book in which there was a kitten called Caramella- so I always thought that it is a very good name for a cat;)

Thanks Barbara. :)
I found some photos of Tivoli in Italy.
Here is the link.
Tivoli, Italy (http://www.terragalleria.com/europe/italy/tivoli/tivoli.all.html)
Beautiful fountains there.
I have never been there but I have been to the Trevi Fountain in Rome and the Boboli Gardens in Florence.

Getting back on the subject of foster kittens...
Rose, what do your other cats think about having four kittens in the house?
Have they met them yet?

rosethecopycat

My cats have not met them yet. Pretty soon though. I am waiting until day 5 of their Ringworm culture. A very high percentage of positives for RW come in by day 5. They have no lesions.
I will send my ambassador, Bella in there. Then Unca Snowy. He loves kittens.

The others, Mr. Jones and Malfi, will just meet them casually, on the 'floor' as they want to be left alone. They will probably swat the kits until they learn, and they do.

I have been to Tivoli in Italy, and I've been to Copenhagen, and heard of the Tivoli park too.

:D :D :D Are you trying to make Rose keep these kittens?! They are absolutely gorgeous! They look lots of fun!

I remember the orange Borg collective! Have you heard of them recently?

rosethecopycat

Three of them are pending adoption already!

Two of them will be forever siblings: Piaccio & Celeste.
One, Tivoli, will get a new brother named Tangelo

And Caramella, has a serious inquiry that might work out. She could have an 'older' brother 6 years her senior.

Cross your fingers for the last little Meezer.

They are a riot in the foster room!

They really move from activity to activity, like the Borg.

Yesterday, Celeste jumped down off of the 4 ft cat post, right onto my head as I was sleeping.

They are getting more and more bold.

I see them planning their Alien Autopsy. They are starting to probe me while I lay on the bed.

Next they will be taking the hair, skin and blood samples, that they need.

I still have Topaz, the mom. Cheetoh, now known as Neko, is a nawtee boy living with one of my co-workers. Chick Pea is a really good sailor and has her own little life jacket! I haven't heard anything about Creamsicle or Zonker.

Rose, that's great that they are all finding wonderful new homes and so quickly.:)
It sounds like you are having fun watching them monkeying around while you foster them.;)

They must be a riot. I know how Abyssinian babies are but meezers must be even more rambunctious:eek: :D

Too adorable for words! Where do all these meezers come from? Are most of them owner surrenders, or are they born feral? They look too social for that...but I've picked up plenty of those. A black & white feral mom I have residing here just gave birth last week to what looks like a blue point meezer mix.(?) Points are developing day by day...I can't wait to see what color the baby will be! :D Pussywillow grey so far! :) Have a happy home Rose's meezer babes. ;)

Piaccio and Celeste are in their new home. Together forever. (I hope Piaccio forgives me for giving him Celeste, ha ha)

Tivoli will be leaving on Saturday. She has a new brother waiting for her.

And well, Caramella, still no adopter....

I will integrate her with the new girl Mavis, so she won't be lonely when Tivi goes.

It's OK Caramella, someone has to be last. You will find a home very soon. Congratualtions to the others. :D :D :D

PLEASE, take another look at these babies.

The flame boy Piaccio is in trouble. His test results for FIP come in today.
He is not thriving anymore. They did an ultrasound and saw a couple enlarged lymph nodes. They aspirated and got some fluid, which they are testing.

His adoptive mama has been great through this, but we must SING THE SONGS for him, that at least he be FIP- so we can get on to finding what's wrong with him.

He's a sweet flame lover boy.

And now, look again, right next to him is Caramella, who has suffered an eye injury. She is getting a corneal shield placed on her eye. She also is in good hands, and we have been dealing with this little one for weeks. She should be alright, even in the worst case scenario, but Piaccio is in the hands of the Creator.

Meezer songs appreciated for my sweet former fosters.

Oh Rose, of course we sing for Piaccio:)
May you find soon what ails him. And may he be happy and healthy again.

Rose, I'm sorry to hear this.:( Lots of prayers, positive thoughts, and songs will be sung for both Piaccio and Caramella. I sure hope that both of their conditions can be treated and that they both make full and quick recoveries too. Please continue to update us when you can.
