We've decided to trap Punkin and make him an indoor kitty. I know Porch and Hazel would love us to rescue him just as we did them. We will do this in their honor. How we miss them. I still cry daily.
Here's Punkin (I'll let you know when we're successful):

Punkin's name fit's him to a "T"!! He is adoreable, I would have had to snatch him and made him a inside kitty already... What a doll baby!!
This is such a wonderful way to honor the memories of Porch and Hazel and I bet they had a paw in that decision.

Those eyes, that face - he's simply too adorable to be outdoors any longer. With the help of Porch and Hazel, and a gentle push from my RB Henry, you will have him in no time flat - :)

He's beautiful and I'm sure he's purring now, dreaming of when he can come inside and be your lap-purrie. Thanks for being so wonderful to the stray kitties; you have a big heart.
(and to catmandu, that peekaboo pictures is wonderful! What a pretty face!)

If that isn't an "I wanna come inside someday" look, we don't know what is!
Good luck with the catch - post some orangie Punkin pics when done!

That face on Punkin is sooooo adorably sweet! He looks rather inquisitive and a bit sad but not scared. I bet you will have him trapped in no time (will be HOPING so!!)
That is a sweet idea and way to nonor Porch and Hazel, too. They were once sad and outside and enjoyed the rest of their lives as pampered indoor kitties - next comes Punkin!
I would think Punkin to be wonderful even if he was not orange  :D

What a wonderful way to honor Porch & Hazel. :) Punkin is adorable, and looks very young too. Has he had the 'big snip' yet? I have a hunch that Punkin & Kurby may end up being best buddies when they meet. ;) :)

Yes, we previously TNR'd Punkin (if you look real close you can see his left ear is tipped) and now decided to bring him in. When we're successful at trapping him again (can be difficult since he's been trapped before) we'll have him tested, shots, and all necessary vet inspections before he's brought in. We'll be trying for him this weekend.

What a great way to honor Porch & Hazel. I'm sure they will be very pleased.:)
Lisa, when you first posted pictures of Punkin, I fell in love with him at first sight. I have never seen a cat with such an adorable looking face.
Good luck Lisa & Kevin and thank you so much for making Punkin a member of your fabulous family.
I hope and pray that all goes well for him at the vets.
Oh I can't wait to see more pictures of this little sweetpea of a kitty.:)

Punkin is eluding the trap, which I was afraid would happen. We may have to drop trap him, and really hate to do it that way since it's pretty traumatic for them. I will continue trying with the regular trap for a few days before we resort to other measures.

Try putting a comfortable catnip loaded bed in the trap without setting it to spring on him with some food, let him get use to going in with nothing happening and make sure it is completely covered up on the outside. OHhhhhh, he is SO pretty and my eyes tear up everytime I see his picture, knowing Porch and Hazel are smiling down, cheering you on and nudging him to move in the home they loved so much.
