Gonzo + Lola! *2*

I am SO happy with Gonzo and Lola! We're trying to slowly introduce them, but Lola really doesn't mind him at all. She actually seems to think he's a cat, she rubs up against him and was even licking his cheek yesterday. . . all to the confusion of Gonzo. He doesn't really know whats going on ^_^

Contrary,to popular belief,in the wild.Dogs and Cats,are not enemies.Its just,that some Dogs,if the Cats run,they are coditioned,to cahse.But if the Cats satnd thier ground 99%,of the time,there is no trouble,at all.

:) thanks everybody!! aren't they a cute little couple? LOL.. I'm very very relieved that Gonzo shows no desire to chase her. . he does tend to lay down and stare at her a lot (dorky Border Collie thing), but he never acts like he wants to herd her. We'll keep a close eye on them just in case.

oh, and Lola is getting over her URI! she sounds way less congested already and her eyes look a lot better ^_~

I'm also glad to hear that Lola is better from her URI.

Hope we get to see a snuggle picture in the near future with the two of them.:D

Rie has a border collie and she raised Annie from a infant with him and they get along fine until Annie decided his face needs washing and starts cleaning his face... The look on Sparkeys face is priceless as he TRYS to endure that cat tongue.

aw, I'd love to see pics of Sparkey and Annie :) sounds so cute! Gonzo also looks up at me with a confused expression when Lola is rubbing against his legs and kneeding his fur... he'll get used to it ^_^

I am just seeing this thread and think that nose kissie picture is the sweetest thing!!! I also love to see pictures of dogs and kitties happy together:)

I am not sure what "herding" is but my DIL has a kitty and a border collie and they are fine together. Is there sometime a problem with BC's and cats? I think they basically ignore each other:p

erica those pics are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....Zip and Shy lived with a pitbull/boxer mix, and i was afraid to death as i heard a lot of negative things about pitbulls, but they got along fine, although they never nose kissed like your 2...:D :D ...(she was a very loving dog...)...
