New Puppy

Well, we only lasted a week after our beloved Cinnamon had to be put to sleep. She is still greatly missed, but we have a new doggie child in our home. She is adorable and fate brought her to us. She is a sweet girl and I knew the moment we went to take her home that she was meant to come home with us. She curled up in my son's lap in the back seat of our truck then proceeded to jump into my husband's lap as soon as we got home and curled up and went to sleep. She is a 3 1/2 month old collie/shepard mix and follows us everywhere. She came from a local shelter and is already doing very well with the house breaking-only 2 accidents-one in her crate and one in the house-not bad for just having her since Saturday. She is a very quiet girl and really doesn't cry at all.
Just wanted to share our news with everyone....it is unbelieveable how another pet can help soothe the hurt from losing a long loved pet.

I'm so happy for you! Your new baby sounds like the perfect medicine to help heal your broken heart. You are so right, there is nothing like the love of a precious new furkid to give you comfort and make you smile during this very difficult time. She sounds like a real gem:) Wow, what a good girl! Only a few understandable accidents as she makes her transition:) What's her name? Would love to see pics of your new addition. Please give her a hug for me!
