**note: if the pictures don't work the first time, try hitting refresh, and they probably will shop up the 2nd time!!**
VermontCat, and her son, & I met in Middlebury this afternoon at the Humane Society. We had a wonderful visit!!
First we walked around the place and visited all the kitty cats. There were 2 in particular that I fell in love with. There was a calico that kept reaching through the bars to grab at my hand. She just wanted attention so badly! Then in another room, there was a black kitty who wasn't in a cage, and she just looooved the attention, purring 100 miles a minute. :)
Then we went downstairs and visited the doggies. Some were quite hyper, jumping 4 or 5 feet in the air! They had fencing on top of their kennels besides the sides!!
Then we turned the corner, and I fell in love!!! There was the SWEETEST labbie mix ever, so gentle and mellow. He gave the sweetest kisses and just sat up close to the bars.
So we went back upstairs and signed a volunteer sheet to walk a couple dogs. Vermontcat took a female named Kaleigh (I think?) and I took the sweet black labby named Cristo. Here are a couple pictures that I took:

This is Cristo. If I didn't have two labbies back at home, I definitely would have him with me right now!! I was so sad to put him back. :(

He just loved all the attention! I know I said this already, but he was sooooo sweet!!

And this is Kayleigh that Vermontcat walked. She was a bit hyper, but so sweet and wanting to play. We think she has husky and collie in her. I could have taken her home, too! :p
Then, after we got back, we went out for lunch at the nicest restaurant called Fire & Ice. It was a great place, and I definitely would like to go back there sometime.
So, it was a great day, and it was so much fun spending time with you, Vermontcat!!
