As some of you know, Poppy had sprained his leg, by falling while trying to jump up on a shelf. This happened Saturday night.
Monday, he was still limping and favoring his leg, but did that stop him from trying to jump up on a shelf again. NNNNOOOOO!!
I swear this little monkey is going to give me a heart attack.

He is boxed and ready to be shipped out. Any takers?????

Yes Kim, you are right. He sure is my pride and joy, but boy is he ever playing on my nerves. Sunday, all he did was rest, didn't even attempt anything, but come Monday, he started to play a little bit more, not for long, cause he would start limping again and would go and rest.
I swear, I can hear him saying, "Hee, hee, watch meowmie jump as I struggle to get up here."
Today, he couldn't even get to the top of the cat tree for pete's sake, so I know his leg still isn't strong enough.

Also, I forgot to mention, notice the white cardboard in the bottom of the box all chewed up. Poppy just LOVES to chew on cardboard.

Poppy is adorable! I'll take him!
Poppy sounds a lot like Pepper. She is our little daredevil. Last year she was jumping down from the top of a chain length fence and got her toe caught. It broke. She was in a cast for a while. Did that stop her? Just like Poppy ~ Noooooooooooo, we let her out on the balcony (2nd story) for some fresh air and before we could stop her, she leaped off the balcony onto the roof of our car and ran off to the play in the back yard. Even with a cast on, we had a heck of a time catching her.

Lmao!!!!!! You gals are too much.

Thank you all for your lovely and very comical replies.
I really got a kick out of them.

Even though some of your offers were VERY tempting, especially yours Jen, when I got home from work, I did my usual, go into the kitchen, put the kettle on for a good cup of tea, sit down and finish reading my paper from the morning. Within minutes, Poppy was beside me mewing to be picked up, so like a good meowmie, I picked him up and starting talking to and petting him. He fell asleep in my arms and upon looking at that sweet little smiley face of his, I decided, he wasn't going anywhere.

Sorry about that folks. At least now we won't have a war between anyone. RIGHT JAN!!! :D
