We boarded our pup just overnight because of a family event last weekend. She hasn't ever been away from us since we adopted her :( but when we picked her up, we were told that she ate fine, etc. However, it seemed like her bowel habits were out of sorts for about 24 hours...does that sound typical due to stress/change of environment?

I think she's back to her old self again today, but I just wanted to hear from others about these kinds of temporary changes.

Thanks.

It sounds normal. Stress does the same to humans;) Did you leave them your food? Sometimes the change of food will cause this. Whenever boarding an animal try to keep them on the same foods. Adding can foods during this time may be good as they are stressed and can foods typically have more calories.
Glad the puppy is home! It is SOOO CUTE!!!
