Sorry to say, Whimsy's owner was taken. Whimsy is NOT a Bengal. Whimsy is a Lynx Point Siamese. Look at the blue, crossed eyes, definitely Siamese, not Bengal. Look up Lynx Point Siamese and Bengal, and you'll see that Whimsy IS a LYNX POINT SIAMESE, not a Bengal. Sorry owner, you don't have what you think you have. I knew when I saw your picture of your pretty Whimsy, that he was not Bengal.

I'm not cutting the cat down. Whimsy is a beautiful cat. I never cut down the beauty of a cat, I have 22 indoor cats, and they're all beautiful. It's just that researching, because I know breeds a bit, that Whimsy is NOT a Bengal, but a Lynx Point Siamese. Bengal or not, Whimsy is a great cat, just like everyone elses. I just wish people wouldn't make up breeds of cats, when they do NOT know the actual lineage of their cats. They may look like a pure breed cat, but aren't really, if you dont' know the parents. But, Whimsy may have come from a Bengal breeder, but look closely and you'll see he's not a Bengal, but a Lynx Point Siamese.

I joined the forum to say that she sure looks like a bengal to me. I have a snow bengal and she looks very much like Whimsy. Siamese cats were used in breeding the snows so there will be a resemblance.

Congrats Whimsy on being COTD. I don't feed my Bengals pasta because it can lead my cats to be Diabetic. Here is a picture of Baxter. He is the youngestof myn 3 Bengals.
