I have only been a member for a few days and already love this site and its forums. Just to share with you my kitties, i will put a link to my babies in the thread. The yellow kitties are Harley who is yellow and white. My husband named Harley that because he purrs all the time. Harley is one of my rescues from the city i work for as the animal control officer.
Punkin is an orange tabby and looks like Garfield. He was originally named Pumpkin but we shortened it to Punkin. He is a big love a kitty. I got him from one of the police officers i work with.
Mia is a blue tabby and is a very small female cat and the only female cat here. She was named Mia because of how she meows. She is also one of my rescues from work.
Hobo came from a vet in the city i work for. He is a dark mackeral tabby. He is like a Hobo in that he only comes for attention on his own terms. Hubby named him because of that.
Except for Punkin, hubby named all the kitties here. He seems to be so good at naming pets for their personalities.
The first picture will be of Harley.

When I first,started downloading photos,I had the exact same trouble,as dial up.is very slow,and you have to wait,until the photo,fully develops,,and the ,forum,returns,to the thank you,for submitting,then we will see the whole Cat.Welcome,to Pet Talk,and the only way,to learn,as I made a lot,of mistakes,before I got half way good,at this.

WELCOME! Punkin doesn't look pleased that you photographed him in mid-groom! I have a big orangie male too, named Allen. He is head kitty here. I also have Pouncer, Harry, and Abby. Harry and Abby were fosters that just never left. When they are bad, I tell them they'll be at the next adoption event... but they know I'm not serious! Your job sounds fascinating!

I also have a large dog named Nicki, who doesn't quite like the cats, but she's learning they won't attack her like Allen did when he was a single kitty, so things have been getting better around here.

Here is a picture of Mia. One crazy thing about here is she is only loving with us when we are in bed. She will come to us when we lay down and love on us and snuggle. That is the only time she is loving tho.

Welcome to Pettalk! I'm owned by many kitties (mostly special needs), and all rescues from mainly the streets. :) You have your work cut out for you I'm sure. ;) Rescue is an endless chore it seems, but such a necessary one. ;)
