Did you report that horrible puppy mill to the authorities or the Humane Shelter? If you haven't, PLEASE do. Places like this must be shut down - you saved one, remember the ones that are still suffering!

Oh Scout......You bring tears to my eyes. I am so sorry about your first 5 months of life. I do not understand people that can do that to an animal. I am so happy to hear that you have a family that loves you very much and takes very good care of you. And also lets you be king of the house. I think that is wonderful. You are so handsome. We are trying to control the tears as we write this morning. This poor little boy's life started out so bad. We will never never never understand how people can be so cruel and insensitive. This story has touched our hearts very deeply. As we go through each day, we try to forget about the ignorant idiots of the world and we will never stop hoping that one day they will all be eradicated off the face of the earth. Before they leave, we can only hope that they are treated exactly the way they have treated those helpless little souls that didn't deserve it. Sorry to rant but we couldn't help it.

Darling, precious Scout! You and your Mommy both are our Sunday Dog of the heroes!!! For years now I have protested against and actively supported legislation to help shut down puppy mills:( The horrors to be found there are unspeakable and my heart breaks for all the innocent souls whose fates are less fortunate than yours. I'm so very sorry you had to suffer so mercilessly at the hands of those selfish, heartless, evil doers, adorable Scout!

Bless your wonderful family for rescuing you and giving you a second chance at life! It never ceases to amaze me how creatures subjected to such abuse and neglect can rebound and come to learn to love and trust again. Your spirit and determination to put the past behind you, to live life to it's fullest, is an inspiration to us all, Scout! Then again, you have the heart of a Terrier!:)

Scout, I could barely breath as I read how you had to begin your life. How fortunate that your new mommy and daddy were able to find you in time before your heart was broken from lack of love and your body broken from the lack of care.

Scout, as I read your bio I could tell that your mommy is going to make each day a miracle day for you. She understands how she needed to make up for those lost puppy months. What an amazing resilient boy you have been. Yes you are King as well as Dog of the Day. You, dog among all dogs, deserve to have this very special day.

I too have a secret place in my heart for Rat Terriers as there was one in my home when I was young. It was supposed to be *my dog* but Tex was a dog with a mind of his own and he chose my mother. :( Like a jilted lover I have been forever after been drawn to the little dog who would not be mine.

What can the rest of us do to find out the website or name of this puppy mill to have it shut down? It MUST happen.
