Frank is adorable.

I'm new to the forums here and I suppose there might be a better place for this, but I wanted to be sure Frank's guardians saw it - re: the wheel - if you have a plain wax candle in the house (or a hunk of plain wax, if you've got crafty people who use it for something) rub it against the metal bits on the frame that hold the wheel in place, anywhere metal will rub on metal. It wears off and you have to do it again every couple of days, but this makes a metal wheel much quieter.

If he's making that much noise in a plastic wheel I don't know what to say except, boy, he must have a lot of energy!!

I well remember the sound of a hammie taking a midnight run in their wheel. I had a hammie named Calhoon when I was a girl.

P.S. If you have a plastic wheel, you can use vaseline (or your local product.) If you have a metal wheel, you can use just a _tiny bit_ of vegetable oil. Just make sure that it doesn't spatter and get all over Frank's beautiful coat!

P.P.S. If you are not doing so already, please invest in a wheel with a solid running surface. It will keep Frank from getting hurt!
