If anyone is interested, I will tell you all . It all started about last june or july. I was thinking hard about getting a new friend for our girl abby. I was looking at several different breeds such as birman, balanese, tonkinese and ragdoll.I fell in love with the ragdoll kittys(blue-pointed) the most , so that was my decision:) I looked up several potential local breeders and with their help and suggestions , I decided a little boy would best for abby. When I told my husband of the cost of a pure-bred ragdoll, he was not for it at all. The lowest price i found was $400 for a blue-point boy. He said...lets try the humane society and bring home a in-need-of-a-home kitten. After i came to my senses, i agreed with him, after all we love our abby girl so much. So the next day went to the shelter. We went in and looked at all the sweet little faces crying to me.Suddenly my son says..Mom,Look at this one here! ok ,so I look....OMG it was a blue point, with blue eyes, and a boy!........but short hair ( a siamese no less) Oh well he is not a real ragdoll kitten, but he looks like a short haired version of what i had dreamed of. I said...I Will Take HIm! ok, while signing the paperwork we overhead the girls who work there saying...."Goodbye Little MAILBOX" ! Of course I had asked them why did they all call this sweet little kitty "mailbox" . The answer was quite shocking to me. A worker there had discovered this little siamese kitten. Someone had stuffed him into the mailbox at the humane society and left him in it over the long weekend,When he was found he no food or water either, and was starving while in that mailbox:mad: So that is Buddys story...needless to say ,, He will NEVER..EVER be stuffed into a mailbox again:) I ask how can anyone be so cruel to this little beauty http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid150/p9b549c8af8e8f7d74b021c0f8d3aeb15/f5e28346.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid150/pd643fe54d2c4adc1a2b22ed40cbb550b/f5e275a3.jpghttp://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid150/pb6daf47ca6657409a6b492be04ac179e/f5e28072.jpg these are pictures were taken after I got him healthy at around 10 weeks old. He was extemely bony when we brought him home. All his ribs were pertruding as was his spine and hip bones, and he was approx. 7 weeks old at the time. He is a wonderful addition to our family and our Miss Abby loves him much as do we:) :D

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v621/catmandu/catphotos520.jpg To have found that Beutiful Kitten,and you are so right.it is mind boggling,that anyone would abandon,that beauty.But,she might be a pure bred,that just misses being show quality,and then,they ahve no value,to a breeder.But no breeder,would just dump,a Kitten,when they can be easily placed,which,is how,I got the Meezers,that will soo,be on the Screen,meeeowing A Hello,To Buddy!

Buddy is absolutely adorable! How anyone could abandon him like that in a mailbox is beyond me! But maybe it was meant to be, because he has a wonderful furever home now, and will never have to worry about starving or thirsting to death again.:)

Aww what a cutie!

That's sort of how I felt when I was looking for a second cat. I'd always wanted a ragdoll, but decided to look at the sheltersas those cats needed me most. I ended up finding Tibby, who was just the most beautiful kitten I'd ever seen. She's not a ragdoll, but her markings and coat are close enough. Plus I couldn't imagine having adopted a better kitty, she is just perfect.
