mama spotting a little bit after birth

hi guys
my friend Lorianne just called to tell me Mama who gave birth yesterday to 4 fur babies had been spotting a little bit..
not a lot but enough to notice on the blanket
she wanted to know if this is normal after giving birth?
My pepper never did after giving birth but she only had one kitten
I told her I would post on the club about it

I's normal for them to pass blood for a few days after birthing. If it's greenish tinged, or any color other than red, it's a sign of infection, and she should be brought into the vet immediately. Hope she plans on spaying mom after her kittens are weaned. ;)

Yup, it's normal. Mattie Grace spotted a day or so after she had her 4 babies.
