Awww Jonah!
You're such a sweetheart and I'm in LOVE with that polka-dotty nose. (Mizzer Piper thinks that's a pretty spiffy speckle as well -- he has two, ya know! ;) )

Great pictures, Kelly. I love your furbabies - can never get enough of them!

Jonah is so handsome! I love that beauty mark on his nose...is it his only pigmented area? :confused: Phoebe looks like she loves him too. :)

Kelly I always LOVE seeing your babies. I just adore Jonah....the speck on the nose and the two different color eyes just set Jonah out from the rest.

Jonah is sooooooo sweet!! He's absolutely "my kitty". Everywhere I go, he's there. When I'm on the computer, he's perched on top of the cat boxes or right behind my chair. He's such a dear...*heart flutters* &hearts; &hearts; &hearts;

Jen, Jonah is out with the rest now. He's been out for at least a month, probably more. He gets along well with them all. He frequently plays with the babies and Micah. Noah is pretty cool around him. Hermie, well, she loves all kitties...its Noel that isn't too fond of him, but she's not mean to him, just disinterested. He and Livvy got along pretty well, as long as he stayed out of her way...she was kind of the queen of the place. ;)

His cute little nosey spot is his only pigmentation. Isn't it sweet??

Jonah is a total talker...but only to me. &hearts; I just love that little guy!! He does the same thing Pee Pee does when he see's me. Flops on the ground and purrs. &hearts; So sweet.

A quick version of Jonah's story:
While working at the vet, someone brought him in to be euthanized because he "ruined their furnature and they were sick of buying more". When I saw he was so young and utterly adorable, I HAD to have him. I called David and he said "NO". I then called my good friend, CiCi, and she allowed me to keep him in her spare bedroom. He was VERY scared and refused to eat. He'd only come out when I was there ( &hearts; ). He was totally overweight. He would also only eat when I sat there with him. We had a strange bond...CiCi spent hours with him, trying to get him to come out, as soon as I got there, he'd change personalities.

Here's a picture of him when I first got over there one day. Until I came in the room, he was huddled under the bed.

That bond is what made me figure out a way to keep him.

He's slowly beginning to realize that our couch is OK for him to be on. :( I can only imagine what's made him that terrified. :mad: He'll jump up there if I'm on it (and only sit on my lap) and jumps down when I get up...but we're slowly making progress.

And! In a house of 8 other cats, he's NEVER shown any aversion to the litter box. He's very well litterbox trained.

Oh well...my gain!!! I love that guy soooo much!!

Pops and Jo - I think you missed it b/c her Jonah came into the picture about the same time as Jo's Jonah......
b/c I remember thinking we have a baby boy and a kitty named Jonah now.

Jonah is beautiful!!

Kelly, he is adorable. :) I had missed his story, too, darn it. I wish I didn't have to work so I could do a better job of keeping up with who belongs to whom. Way back in the early days of Pet Talk, Joan (Freckles) used to do a list of who went with what pet, our real names, etc. That would be a monumental job these days, but it sure did help!

What a heartwarming story! I'm sure Jonah loves you so much Kelly, because he knows you saved him. ;) He's precious, really. I have always had a fondness for white cats, though I love cats of all colors. Jonah is beautiful! I can't believe you've had him since Johanna had HER Jonah! Where have I been these past 6 months? :o:o
