not jumping on the betta bandwagon

You guys sure love your bettas. I on the other hand have noticed that my mom's guppy managerie has too many little boy fishies so I'm gonna steal a few purple and blue ones for my dorm room. She won't notice:D She thinks I have too many pocket pets at school right now anyway. I think a few new fishies are just what I need. No bettas though, I have a friend who obsesses about them and would love this message board, so of course I don't need her fauning over any of my fishies, thats my job.

Hee hee - fishies can be addictive, can't they? Don't have any currently but have in the past. No bettas, just neon tetras, mollies, zebra danios, tiger barbs, a little silver shark-looking guy that didn't stay little for long ... and a suicidal swordtail and his wife. Had to cover the tank after we got him, as he kept leaping out! Yikes!
