Okay, I'm new here and I don't know anyone or there pets. I've been seeing the pet of the day threads. does someone just randomly pick someone elses pet to talk about or is it your own? And why are there no pics posted about the pet that's being talked about? I am just trying to understand.

Well, at this link: http://petoftheday.com/, Karen, the site administrator, selects a picture and story of a pet that people send (e-mail) to her about their pet. There's a different pet every day, hence, it's called pet of the day!:) (Pet Talk is connected to pet of the day, and it got started a long time after Karen decided to create a forum for the site) There's also "dog of the day" and "cat of the day." In the "Discuss today's pet of the day," members of Pet Talk compliment or comment the pet posted on the pet of the day page! It's the same with the cats and dogs too. Did you just come across this forum without finding the main page? I hope that answers your question!;)

P.S. Your dogs are gorgeous by the way Leah! I LOVE Border collies and aussies, so I hope to get to know you better! I know Blaze, my border collie would love to play with your dogs!:D
