:( :( :( :( :(
I am so worried about Dudley, there might be something seriously wrong with him. Last week he was at the vet for a check-up and shots, he weighed in at 9 pounds (can't remember what ounces). We talked to the vet about his weight, it has always been a concern of ours because he looks extremely underfed and is a VERY picky eater (he eats hardly anything). He claimed that he looked ok and was a healthy weight, we were told by another vet (one who we hate and don't see anymore) that he was very thin and we needed to plump him up. Dr. Fellenz also checked Dudley's teeth and he has a lot of build-up on his molars ( I brush their teeth but can't always reach the back ones), so we made an appointment for him to get his teeth cleaned, which is supposed to be done Wednesday. They took blood from Dudley to make sure he is healthy enough to be put under for the cleaning. Today we got a phone call from Dr. Fellenz and he is extremely concerned about Dudley, it turns out he has an EXTREMELY low white blood cell count and wants to see him ASAP- since we have an appointment for Wednesday we are going then. I am really worried, I really hope Dudley is not seriously ill...I hope it is cureable whatever it maybe.
Please keep Dudley in your thoughts, I will be sure to give an update when we get more information. My mom is going to call the vet back tomorrow and talk to Dr. Fellenz.
