Did anyone see this program on the The Learning Channel???

It was a bunch of short stories on ther troubles that neighbors have with each other.

One story concerned a couple who lived next door to a man and woman who had a bee/honey business.

The "next door" couple began to complain to the city about laws that were being broken.

The woman quit her job so she could stay at home and 'monitor'
and videotape everything that was going on...

She complained about not being able to sleep because she was so busy writing out notes and taping stuff that was going on..

You could tell that the couple filing all the complaints had a few screws loose.

The rest of the show was kinda boring but it shows how petty and lame people can be....

It will re-air on March 13!

We have a big "bad neighbors" story happening in NH. Apparently, national news is picking it up (like Good Morning America and CNN). There are these 2 neighbors who are videotaping eachother and throwing water on eachother (including an electrician who was working outside on one of the neighbors homes)! They've been to court and one has been fined but not much else has happened. It's all over the news (paper and t.v.).

It's a shame. I'm happy I like my neighbors. We get along just great. Knock on wood.

HEY, KEEP IT DOWN OVER THERE!!!!

;)

The 'videotapeing' woman on the program was pathetically sad.

She had one legal pad that had dates and notations with the time, down to the minute, noted.

She and her husband also filed 67 complaint in the space of three days.

Can you imagine the taxpayer costs involved???

MORONS!

Ok, that just goes beyond "Mrs. Cravitts" and into down right stalking.

And her husband is not only allowing her to do it, but he gets involved. Come on now, someone needs to put their foot down.

And lawyers too!!!

There was a lawyer whose only job was to litigate neighborhood
lawsuits.

One family won a settlement from a lady who cut down 6 trees that blocked her view from her hillside home....

The owner of the trees was asked about moving, by helicopter,
a new tree to replace the ones that were cut down.

He said, "Sure, it would cost a couple of hundred thousand dollars........."

The hardest thing is to get a crazy person to see they are crazy.
It doesn't matter what WE think!!!!;)

I'll share a little story of my grandmother, who lived in an area that was country side when they built their house. She had a couple that took care of the property and also to keep her company when my grand-father passed away.
Well, the men of the couple was very fond on raising bees and make honey in a little scale, for home consume. Just 4 or 5 of this thinguis where bees live.
Then,as the town grew, became a semi-rural/semi-residential area.A house was built half a mile away and people came to live in.
Spring came and the poor bees were busy suckling polen around.
Looked like the neighbors weren't ready to enjoy the wonders of nature and came to complain about the nuisance those darn bees were making to them.
My grandmother ,sure, dind't want to give up on these honey that keep up "sweet" all year long and said to them: "Sorry Madam, the bees lived here first" :D
And that was the end of it! :D
