PJ's Mom

When Peej had the lesion taken off his foot, we had it sent to the pathology lab to make sure it wasn't cancer. I had pretty much convinced myself that he was fine.
The doctor called today and left me a voice mail. All he said was, "This is Dr. Habbinga. We have PJ's test results in. Please give me a call as soon as you can."
*gulp*
He didn't sound positive. He didn't just tell me what the results were. I instantly panicked and by the time I called him back which was only a minute or so after I heard the message, I was close to tears.
Turns out the boo boo was only badly infected. There's no cancer!! :D I wanted to ring the old man's neck for making me worry like that, ( :D ) but after such great news, I forgave him. :) He's putting Peej on a strong antibiotic, but other than that he's got a clean bill of health.
Whew!! :D
