The first couple of days after Docker came to our house, once in a while he would have this weird breathing thing (it's hard to explain) - he would sort of breathe in and out very quickly and loudly, like he was having trouble breathing or something. After 10-15 seconds it would go away and he'd be fine. I figured I'd watch him for a couple of days and he stopped doing it, but then Tasha started doing it only when we were out for walks. She hasn't done it for a day or so now, but today Buddy was doing it. I looked up Kennel Cough on the internet today and the symptoms sound sort of like what they were doing (one site described it as a non-productive cough) but not the "wheezing" or heavy breathing. Tasha seemed to always have a large, dry cough at the end of an "episode", but not the other two. Any ideas? Does this sound like Kennel cough to you? I have no experience with it. Or does it sound like something else someone may know about. I'll monitor them for a few days but if it continues I guess I'll have to get them in to the vet.
